The new Lawn Hospitality Complex at Sandown Park Racecourse in Esher, Surrey is a stunning glazed design which is making use of steel profiles from Crittall Windows.
Crittall supplied a selection of profiles from its Corporate 2000 and Corporate W20 ranges. For the front of the complex to allow for clear, uninterrupted views of the racing action, Corporate 2000 windows were specified. Offering elegant simplicity, the inherent strength of the slimline steel sections accommodates the design of minimum couplings for large glazing spans. Thus the glass element of the structure can be fully appreciated without any protruding mullions or transoms detracting from the overall visual affect.
Corporate 20 profiles were specified for the non-vision areas, notably the stairwells, where 8m x 15m strip windows were required. Again the W20 profiles easily accommodate the large expanses of glass, with strength and durability assured.
