Just outside Ware, in Hertfordshire, lies the Marriott Hanbury Manor Hotel and Golf Club, a magnificent venue for visitors and golfers, set in 200 acres of parkland.

The Hanbury Manor estate has, since the 19th century, been dominated by a Jacobean mansion and its grounds. One of the most popular additions since the Marriott Group acquired the venue and set about transforming it into a five star luxury country house hotel, is the 18-hole championship golf course, designed by the son of the "Golden Bear" himself, Jack Niclaus II.

Crittall Windows has supplied a number of steel profiles from its Corporate 2000 range for a bar extension to the ground floor, with steel specified for its ability to blend in with, and complement the existing surrounding architecture.

Crittall Windows offer very narrow sightlines and therefore minimise any prominence from the frames, allowing the glass to become a design feature in its own right.

Strength and durability are assured, as the material is at least three times as strong as any comparable fenestration material.

Corporate 2000 profiles provide slender styling. and elegant simplicity, with fewer sealed joints for a smoother appearance. The inherent rigidity of the sections allows the design of flat, unobtrusive couplings for all but the very largest of glazing spans.

For the extension, double glazed windows with square leading were fitted into new hardwood frames to match existing windows.
