As part of our growth plan, and to meet demand for our iconic products, we are seeking to appoint an Estimator to join our Sales & Estimating Team, based at our head office in Witham. Purpose

Produce and issue budget and detailed quotations for commercial customers.

Responsibilities

  • Review enquiry documents, identifying any non-standard specification details.
  • Identify any non-standard or special materials i.e. glass, window/door hardware.
  • Liaise with suppliers and obtain prices.
  • Use software packages to produce quotations.
  • Attend post order handover meetings with Regional Sales Manager, operations and manufacturing team.
  • Prepare handover pack, collate all necessary quote documentation and relevant email correspondence.
  • Ensure quotations are prepared and issued with agreed price and in line with customer expectations.

Key Competencies

  • Proven experience as an Estimator or in a similar role within the window & door, construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in using estimation software (Klaes & Logical packages preferable) and Excel.
  • Adaptable and can work on own initiative.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management.
  • Excellent literacy and numerical skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
