Crittall Windows In “Eco-City” Garden At RHS Chelsea Flower Show

Witham-based Crittall Windows had its iconic-looking steel frame windows featured in an award-winning showcase garden at this May’s RHS Chelsea Garden Show.

Supplied and installed by Crittall Window Specialist Lightfoot Windows (Kent), the minimalist style window made a striking feature in Hay Joung Hwang’s ‘Eco-City garden, which was a winner of the Silver Gilt Medal.

The garden, sponsored by LG Electronics, re-imagines sustainable living, helping to combat inner-city air-pollution and promote well-being.

Korean landscape architect Hay created the ‘Eco-City’ show garden with a design utilising innovative technology to address environmental issues posed by contemporary lifestyles.

Hay commented: “I used the Crittall window as it presents a classic, light, industrial look with a strong utilitarian vibe – it works really well within the garden scheme.”

Designed with modern living in mind, Crittall Windows’ doors and screens provide a sense of space, light, understated beauty, clean lines, subtle detailing and excellent technical properties.
