Crittall Windows on C4’s “Ugly House to Lovely House with George Clarke”

Crittall Windows’ products have been seen on Channel 4’s “Ugly House to Lovely House with George Clarke” programme (aired 24 March 2016).

Crittall steel windows and interior screens were used in an intensive make-over project to transform an uninspiring 1920s three-bedroom former council house, in Croydon.

The owners worked closely with the project’s architect to extend and re-configure the property to make best use of space and bring-in much-needed light.

Crittall’s glazing system was recommended by the architect and used as the home’s centre-piece. It created a modern-looking exterior with large areas of glass, echoing the original Crittall steel windows. The slimline steel partitioning brought elegance and a sense of airiness to the interior living spaces.

The end result delighted the owners.
