Crittall Updates Environmental Position

Crittall Windows Limited actively seeks to minimise the impact of our operations on the environment through sustainable sourcing, reduced energy consumption and promoting recycling by engaging with supply chain partners, customers and employees.

Crittall windows and doors are manufactured under an Environmental Management system accredited to ISO 14001:2015.

Steel is considered to be one of the most sustainable materials on the planet.

The steel used to fabricate our windows is produced from recycled sources and any waste from the production process is retained and recycled.

Our products have a life expectancy of more than 60 years and incorporate features that improve the energy efficiency of buildings.

We constantly review our consumption of energy and raw materials and implement measures to reduce waste and maximise efficiency. An example of which is the installation of latest generation solar panels that lower consumption of electricity from the national grid.

Our status as the largest steel window manufacturer in the world brings with it a responsibility to be the industry leader in reducing the environmental impact of our activities. The Board of Directors is committed to introducing efficiency improvements that reduce energy consumption and waste against targets set on an annual basis.
