The Gate, Newcastle

Crittall Fendor were chosen to be a part of the creation of The Gate in Newcastle. The Gate is part of the historic Grainger Town area of Newcastle, and has 19 venues spread

across three floors including a Cineworld and Aspers casino.  The Gate was built to replace the 35 year old, 7 storey, Newgate House.

The venue was fitted with Crittall Fendor glazing, using our FireLine glazed fire screens throughout. Numerous 60/60 fully insulated screens were supplied, with some reaching 33.5m in length. The use of fire resistant glazing in modern buildings allows light and vision, improving the user experience whilst protecting against the threat of fire.
