Crittall Windows, the original steel window and door manufacturer, has rejoined the Steel Window Association (SWA), reinforcing its commitment to collaboration and excellence across the industry.
Founded in 1849, Crittall has been a driving force in steel window innovation for more than 175 years, setting standards that have defined the sector both in the UK and internationally. By rejoining the SWA, Crittall strengthens its connection with other leading manufacturers and contributes to the collective voice representing the steel window industry.
Russell Ager, Managing Director of Crittall Windows, said: “As the steel window industry faces challenges in the coming years, including evolving regulations and other changes, we feel it is vital that steel businesses adapt and collaborate to ensure the industry’s best interests are represented.”
The SWA represents the vast majority of UK steel window and door manufacturers, from small craft-based specialists to large multi-site companies. The organisation plays a crucial role in supporting its members through product development, market research, promotion and by maintaining the highest industry standards.
Crittall’s decision to rejoin reflects its continued dedication to shaping the future of the steel window industry, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation to deliver world-leading products.
