I’m looking for…
The slim profile and geometric grid of Crittall steel frames creates an immediate architectural statement.
In restaurant and bar environments, glazed steel partitions define dining zones, separate front and back of house, and create the kind of visual depth and character that cannot be achieved with aluminium or timber alternatives.
For hotel projects, Crittall internal screens and doors are specified across lobbies, restaurant and bar areas, spa facilities and bedroom suites. The ability to specify any RAL colour alongside a range of glazing options, means the system integrates precisely with each project’s interior design brief, regardless of whether the aesthetic direction is industrial, contemporary or classic.
Retail environments benefit from Crittall’s structural strength and slim sightlines when creating glazed frontages, internal display zones and service area partitions. The durability of hot-dip galvanised, powder-coated steel is a specific advantage in high-footfall retail spaces where longevity and low maintenance are critical procurement considerations. High-visibility steel storefronts showcase interiors while providing robust security after hours.

We understand you may have queries about our products and services. We’ve answered some of the most common questions below.
Yes. Crittall steel frames are hot-dip galvanised and finished in Duralife® polyester powder coat, providing a surface that resists corrosion, impact and the wear associated with high-footfall commercial environments. Unlike timber or aluminium alternatives, steel profiles do not warp, swell or degrade over time. For hospitality and retail operators with multiple sites or long lease obligations, this durability significantly reduces lifecycle replacement costs.
Yes. Crittall's Innervision® Fire Rated door system achieves an FD30 fire rating and is suitable for use in restaurants, hotels and retail environments where fire separation is required by building regulations or the fire strategy. The system maintains the same slim steel profile and glazed aesthetic as the standard Innervision® range, ensuring design consistency across fire-rated and non-rated areas within the same project.
Crittall's Innervision® screens and doors are available with a range of glazing options including clear, frosted and reeded glass. Frosted and reeded glazing are particularly suited to hospitality environments where partial privacy is required — between dining zones, at bar service areas or within hotel spa and wellness facilities — while maintaining the visual lightness and aesthetic character of the steel frame system.
Yes. Crittall products are regularly specified across both new build and refurbishment hotel projects. For new build schemes, our Corporate W20® and MW40 external systems provide the thermal performance and security specification required by current building regulations. For refurbishment projects, our internal Innervision® range can be installed with minimal structural intervention, making it well suited to phased hotel renovation programmes where disruption to live operations must be managed carefully.
Yes. All Crittall products are manufactured to bespoke dimensions and configurations. Arched openings, angled partitions, curved layouts and non-standard room geometries can all be accommodated within the Innervision® and Corporate W20® ranges. Our specification team works directly with architects and interior designers during the design development stage to ensure the correct configuration is resolved before manufacture.
Crittall offers an extensive hardware range across both the Classic Collection and Luxury Collection, covering lever handles, pulls and sliding components in a variety of finishes. Frame colours are available in any RAL or BS specification, including Crittall's signature black steel. This level of customisation ensures the system integrates precisely with any interior design direction, from industrial and contemporary through to boutique and heritage-influenced schemes.

FD30 fire-rated steel doors for compliant separation within hospitality and retail environments. Same slim profiles, full design consistency.
For hotel entrances, restaurant frontages and retail facades requiring external-grade steel with advanced security and thermal performance. The W20 TE system’s thermal breaks reduce cold bridging for year-round comfort and energy savings, and can be paired with high-performance double or triple glazing for excellent air-tightness and weather sealing.
Contact UsCommercial hospitality and retail projects carry specific fire safety obligations. Our Innervision FR door systems achieve FD30 fire resistance in accordance with BS EN 1634, offering 30 minutes of protection. This allows architects and fit-out contractors to meet building compliance requirements without introducing a change in aesthetic between fire-rated and non-rated areas of the same project.
For hospitality projects involving basement dining areas, kitchen adjacencies or escape route corridors, fire-rated steel doors provide a compliant, design-consistent solution that satisfies both the client brief and the building control officer.
